This throttle position sensor with OE number 8M6005165 is compatible with Mercury 135-225 DFI outboard motors. It is an essential sensing component for Mercury DFI direct injection outboard engines.

The sensor continuously monitors the throttle opening position and sends real-time electric signal to the engine ECU. The ECU regulates fuel delivery and ignition timing accordingly to maintain stable engine performance at idle, cruising and rapid acceleration. Built with premium sensing chip, the housing is waterproof, anti-salt spray and shock-resistant, designed to withstand harsh saltwater marine conditions and deliver consistent, accurate signals.
