Delrin® 150 is a homopolymer acetal that is manufactured by Ensinger (using DuPont™ Delrin® resin) and sold under the trade name TECAFORM AD natural. This homopolymer acetal has exceptional sliding characteristics and good wear resistance properties. In comparison to POM-C, POM-H has a slightly higher density, hardness and strength due to its higher crystallinity. In addition, POM-H has good electrical insulating properties, as well as exceptional machining characteristics, making Ensinger's extruded Delrin® 150 natural acetal one of the most versatile engineering materials available today.
Delrin® 150 is a high viscosity acetal homopolymer for extrusion processes. It has excellent thermal stability, low die deposit, and enhanced crystallization for low porosity. The material offers very high stiffness, low warpage, and low creep for superior part performance under stress. Delrin® 150 is used in a variety of industries such as automotive or construction where added strength and stiffness are needed.
