SKYSIL SS-650L SILICA POWDER FOR INDUSTRIAL COATING

SS-650L silica matting agent has triple upgrade including creating high matte effeciency, long-time protection and durability in industrial coatings.

It is suitable to use in heavy machinery, petrochemical equipment, ship painting and other fields with strict performance requirements.

Core chemical properties

1. Organic surface modification:

- Special organic coating significantly improves hydrophobicity & resin compatibility

- Ignition loss ≤13.0% (1000℃) confirms the thickness of the precision modified layer

- Large particle size advantage: D50 particle size 6.8-7.3μm, reducing specific surface area and inhibiting the increase of system viscosity;

- High-purity substrate: SiO₂≥99% (dry basis) + whiteness ≥95, ensuring the purity of the end product;

- Process stability: Drying loss ≤5.0% (105℃) + neutral pH value (6.0-8.0), suitable for harsh production environments.

- Large particle size reduces filling density and solves leveling defects caused by high additions

- The organic modified layer blocks the adsorption of silanols and maintains the rheology of the system
