ANJIA Group manufactures high-quality welded gabion boxes using thick hot-dipped galvanized iron wire. Panels are welded first, then assembled into boxes using tie wire, creating a rigid structure that securely retains stone fill. Unlike hexagonal woven gabions, welded gabions offer superior dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity. Ideal for river training, slope lining, canal and dam lining, bridge pillar protection, and vegetation establishment projects.

Standard mesh opening: 50×50mm or 100×100mm. Wire diameter: 3.0-5.0mm. Hot-dip galvanized coating ≥65μm ensures 20-30 years of corrosion resistance. Available in various box sizes (1×1×1m, 2×1×1m, 3×1×1m, etc.) with diaphragms for longer lengths. Custom sizes and PVC coating options available for OEM orders.

A: Welded gabion is rigid, holds shape better, ideal for vertical walls and decorative applications. Hexagonal (woven) is flexible, better for uneven ground and riverbeds. Both available from ANJIA.

Q2: What coating provides the longest life?

A: Hot-dip galvanized (≥65μm) offers 20-30 years. For coastal areas, Galfan (Zn-5%Al) or PVC coating is recommended.

Q3: What stone size should I use?

A: Stone diameter should be 1.5x to 2x the mesh opening. For 50×50mm mesh, use 75-100mm stone. Hard angular rock (granite, basalt) interlocks best.
