Cast sealing plates are installed in grate bed of grate coolers to prevent material leakage.

Cast sealing plates are produced by Vacuum process casting technology craft to ensure high dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Cast sealing plates are heat resistant and abrasion resistant. Cast sealing plates of Cr28Ni20 material are recommended to installed at high-temperature stage. The alloy is based on Ni as the matrix, containing a certain amount of solid solution strengthening elements such as Cr, Fe, W, Co, etc. Among them, Cr, Fe, W are the elements that form carbides, and Co can play a role in refining the alloy carbides, thereby ensuring the thermal strength performance of the alloy. Cr28 ferritic stainless steel has improved corrosion resistance, toughness, and weldability with increasing chromium content. Its chloride corrosion resistance is superior to other types of stainless steel. It can be used for corrosion in nitric acid and salt solutions, but its mechanical and process properties are poor. It is mostly used for acid resistant structures with low stress and as an antioxidant steel.
