Tiamulin Fumarate Soluble Powder is an antibiotic. CHARACTER: White powder

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: Pharmacodynamics Taimiocin belongs to the class of truncated pleuroticin antibiotics and has bactericidal effect on sensitive bacteria at high concentrations. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the ribosomal 50S subunit. Taimiocin showed good antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma and Treponema dysenteriae, and also against most Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus and streptococcus (except group D Streptococcus). It has some activity against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, but has weak activity against most Gram-negative bacteria. It can be used in the treatment of bacterial enteritis, bacterial pneumonia and treponemal swine dysentery in pigs at a ratio of 1∶4. It has a significant effect onpneumonia caused by mycoplasma pneumonia, Brucella bronchopneumonia and Pasteurella multocida mixed infection in pigs. Bioavailability is approximately 85% after a single dose, with peak plasma concentrations reached at 2 to 4 hours. The drug entering the body is widely distributed, with the highest concentration in lung tissue. Taimiocin is extensively metabolized in

vivo to produce more than 20 metabolites, some of which have antimicrobial activity. Taimiocin metabolites are excreted mainly in the feces via bile and approximately 30% in the urine.

DRUG INTERACTION: (1) When used with monensin, salinomycin, methylsalinomycin and other polyether antibiotics, it can affect the metabolism of the above polyether antibiotics, resulting in slow growth, dyskinesia, paralysis, and even death of chickens.

(2) Co-administration with other antibiotics that bind to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome (e.g., macrolide antibiotics,

lincomycin) may result in reduced efficacy due to competition for the same action site.

FUNCTION AND USE: Pleuroticin antibiotics. It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases in chickens, Mycoplasma suis pneumonia, Actinobacillus suis pleura pneumonia, and also for swine dysentery (dysentery) and swine proliferative enteritis (ileitis) caused by Treponema.

USAGE AND DOSAGE: 100 g of medicine mixed with 1L of water, pig 0.45-0.6 g for 5 days; Chicken 1.25-2.5 g, 3 days

ADVERSE REACTION: Pigs use normal doses and sometimes develop skin erythema. Excessive application can cause transient salivation, vomiting and central nervous system depression in pigs.
