Description: R-298 is a general grade of rutile TiO2 Pigment, produced by sulfate process, and using high quality ilmenite with little heavy metals and no radioactive elements from Panzhihua & Xichuang area as its raw material. It is coated with inorganic agents of ZrO2 and Al2O3, and surface treated with organic agents. R-298 owns the features of excellent dispersibility, strong hiding power and high brightness. It has been widely used in paints, coatings, inks, and other fields, and it is especially suited for use in solvent-borne paints.
