When the handle is stationary, water fills the blue area and passes through the small hole into the green area. Applying pressure to the handle pushes the valve stem, opening the valve and activating water flow in the spray gun. The small hole buffers the flow between the green and blue areas. Releasing the handle closes the valve smoothly, ensuring stable operation.
