Core Structure and Working Principle

The single-row deep groove bearing structure consists of four basic components, and the overall design is simple and highly standardized:

Inner ring: It fits tightly with the shaft and rotates synchronously with the shaft. The inner side of the inner ring has an arc-shaped raceway to provide a rolling trajectory for the steel ball.

Outer ring: fixed on the bearing seat or equipment shell, the outside is usually connected to the stationary parts, and the inside of the outer ring is also equipped with a raceway, which together with the inner ring raceway forms the movement space of the steel ball.

Steel balls: As the core rolling elements, they are evenly distributed between the raceways of the inner ring and the outer ring. Rolling friction replaces sliding friction, which greatly reduces the friction coefficient during bearing operation and reduces energy loss.

During operation, when the shaft drives the inner ring to rotate, the steel balls roll along the raceway under the driving force of the inner ring raceway, and the outer ring remains fixed. The cage synchronously guides the steel balls to move in an orderly manner.
