Common Fault Causes of SFNUR5010

(1) Axial Play Issue: Caused by insufficient lubrication of the ball screw assembly, poor fitting of the gland of the screw shaft support bearing, damaged balls or broken bearings, and excessive axial preload, which leads to excessive backlash in the feed drive chain and subsequent axial play of the screw.

(2) Crawling Issue: Mostly occurs during the start-up acceleration phase or low-speed feeding, mainly caused by insufficient lubrication of the feed drive chain and excessive load; loose connection or defects such as cracks in the coupling connecting the servo motor and the ball screw will cause asynchronous rotation between the two, further leading to uneven feeding speed and crawling.

(3) Overload Issue: Insufficient lubrication of the ball screw assembly, excessive axial preload, misalignment between the screw and the guide rail, misalignment between the nut axis and the guide rail, and bending deformation of the screw can all trigger overload alarms. Usually, the CRT will display alarms for servo motor overload, overheating, or overcurrent, and the feed drive unit in the electrical cabinet will indicate overload and overcurrent information through indicator lights or nixie tubes.
