PPGI & PPGL Steel Fence Panel Material – Durable, Corrosion-Resistant Coated Steel for Long-Term Outdoor Applications
Pre-painted steel coils for fencing applications are produced by applying organic coatings—typically polyester or polyvinylidene fluoride—onto hot-dip galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy substrates, following degreasing and chemical conversion pretreatment. The surface is embossed and thermally cured to achieve a matte, subtly textured finish, reducing visual reflectivity and improving resistance to surface abrasion. This construction provides enhanced durability under outdoor exposure, including resistance to moisture, atmospheric pollutants, and UV radiation. The material is suitable for perimeter barriers, security fencing, and architectural enclosures, with typical thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm and widths up to 1250 mm. Custom color options are available to meet design requirements. The coating system is applied continuously in a controlled industrial process, ensuring uniform film thickness and adhesion. Fabrication is compatible with standard cutting, bending, and fastening methods. No additional priming or surface preparation is required prior to installation. The base metal and coating are both compatible with common fastener materials, including stainless steel and galvanized hardware. The product is not intended for structural load-bearing applications beyond its intended use as cladding or non-load-bearing enclosure. Dimensional tolerances conform to standard coil processing practices. No performance guarantees or service life claims are implied.
