1. Product Introduction

This is an OEM axial piston hydraulic cooling fan motor specially fitted for Hitachi ZX450-3 large excavator, originally manufactured by KYB Japan. It drives the radiator cooling fan to control engine coolant temperature and hydraulic oil temperature, interchangeable with ZX470-3, ZX500-3 series excavators.

4. Working Principle

Supplied by independent hydraulic oil from main pump, regulated by ECU via water temperature & hydraulic oil temperature sensors:

- Low temperature: Low flow & low speed to save power & reduce noise

- High load & high temperature: Full flow & max speed for intensive cooling

- Built-in relief valve automatically relieves pressure if fan stuck, protecting motor and main hydraulic pump
