The DCV60-6-4A is a sectional integrally cast manual multi-way hydraulic directional control valve (DCV). 3. Structure & Working Principle
The whole valve is assembled from an inlet section, 4 independent directional spools, a return section and a built-in main relief valve, connected to the oil outlet of the main oil pump in the hydraulic system:
1. Neutral Standby Gear: Hydraulic oil from the pump flows directly from port P to port T and returns to the oil tank for unloading, keeping the system idle and energy-saving. All A and B working ports are sealed to lock the rear hydraulic motor and hydraulic cylinders and fix loads in place.
2. Manual Lever Pulling for Direction Change: Displace the corresponding spool to switch oil passages. High-pressure oil from port P is delivered to port A while port B connects to return port T, driving the hydraulic motor to rotate forward or the cylinder to extend. Pull the lever in the opposite direction to swap oil passages and realize reverse movement of actuators.
3. Release the lever, and the built-in reset spring pushes the spool back to neutral instantly to cut off oil supply and lock loads.
4. The integrated main relief valve provides overload protection. It automatically discharges excess pressure when the hydraulic system exceeds the pressure limit, protecting the oil pump, hydraulic motor and pipelines from high-pressure damage.
