What is White POM-C Rod?
White POM-C Rod is extruded solid round rod made of copolymer polyoxymethylene (copolymer acetal), natural white in colour. Compared with POM-H homopolymer acetal, it has better hydrolysis resistance, alkali resistance and creep resistance, with good toughness and thermal stability. It features low friction, self-lubrication, low water absorption and high dimensional stability, easy for precision CNC turning and milling. It complies with RoHS and REACH, widely used for food machinery parts, gears, bearings, bushings, valve and automation components. Standard diameter 5–200 mm, standard length 1000 mm, length customizable.
Manufacturing Process
White POM-C rod is produced by extrusion molding process. Virgin copolymer POM raw material (no color masterbatch added) is melted at high temperature and continuously extruded through a special die. After cooling, shaping, traction and cutting, solid rods in standard lengths are obtained. Temperature and extrusion speed are strictly controlled during production to reduce internal stress, ensure uniform diameter tolerance and prevent deformation in subsequent machining.
