3. Working Principle
Pressurized hydraulic oil from the main hydraulic system enters the gerotor motor assembly. The oil drives the internal gerotor rotor to produce planetary orbital motion, converting hydraulic pressure into mechanical torque to rotate the excavator upper house. When the control lever is released, the spring-loaded multi-disc brake engages automatically to lock the output shaft, preventing free rotation on slopes. The integrated buffer valve absorbs pressure spikes during frequent start and stop actions, protecting the motor from hydraulic shock and extending service life.
