1. Product Overview
K3V112S is Kawasaki single variable displacement swashplate axial piston pump, widely used as the main hydraulic power unit for 12-ton class medium crawler excavators.
Different from tandem double pumps such as K3V112DT / K3V112DTP, this is a single pump structure. The suffix letter S stands for single pump configuration. Multiple regulator options are available including load sensing control and negative flow control. High-quality interchange aftermarket pumps are available as economical replacement solutions for equipment overhaul.

3. Working Principle
The engine drives the main shaft and cylinder block assembly to rotate. Pistons reciprocate inside the cylinder block to complete oil suction and high-pressure oil discharge.
The built-in servo piston adjusts the tilt angle of the swashplate automatically according to system load signals, changing pump displacement to regulate output flow.
Load sensing control matches pump output flow with actuator demand, reducing overflow energy loss and fuel consumption during light-load operation.

Thoroughly flush hydraulic pipelines and replace all hydraulic filter elements before installation. Strictly maintain hydraulic oil cleanliness. Replace the whole pump assembly once cylinder block, piston shoes and valve plate suffer severe abrasion.
