This is a clear green grade (grades 1-3) solubilizer with a transparent liquid appearance, packaged in 25 kg drums. This solubilizer is specially used to solubilize essential oil, concentrated essence and other lipophilic active ingredients into the aqueous system, which can ensure high transparency of the system and has little impact on odor. During processing, it is usually necessary to first pre mix the solvent with the target oil in a ratio of 3:1 to 1:1, and then add water and stir until completely clear. It should be noted that it is not suitable for oral products such as mouthwash.

How It Works

This non-ionic solubilizer can reduce interfacial tension and form small mixed micelles. These micelles encapsulate hydrophobic components, allowing them to remain uniformly dispersed in water while maintaining the optical transparency and lightweight sensory experience of the system. It has strong compatibility with common cosmetic surfactant substrates and moisturizing systems. When it is paired with Coco gloss or PEG 60 HYDRAGENATED CASTOR OIL in complex formulas, it can also be smoothly integrated to help fine tune the transparency of the system and the texture of foam.

Applications

It is very suitable for use in toners, facial spray, body spray, essence water, transparent facial cleaning products and gel systems, especially for products requiring transparent appearance and adding essence or essential oil. In the pH range of 4-8, it can quickly improve the transparency of the system, with almost no blue light, stable performance during the shelf life, and low irritation. It is also compatible with common preservatives, polymers and electrolytes, and helps to reduce the volatility of essence release in washout and retention products.
