Cold wrapped anticorrosive tape
Cold wrapped anticorrosive tape is a tape in which the product can be wrapped along the wrapped object at room temperature without the need for heat winding, so it is also called cold wrapped tape. The product is a strip-shaped anti-corrosion material formed by thermally laminating a polyethylene base film with a layer of adhesive layer mainly composed of butyl rubber and co-extruding it. This tape is generally widely used as an external anti-corrosion material for steel pipelines in the field of pipeline anti-corrosion. Product application scope:
Cold-wrap tape is widely used for the external anti-corrosion of steel pipelines in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, natural gas, power, urban gas, drainage, and sewage, as well as for the anti-corrosion and repair of straight pipes, elbows, storage tanks, and special-shaped parts of drainage pipelines.

1.The allowable deviation of the adhesive tape thickness is ±5% of the tape thickness.
2. The heat aging test refers to the rate of change in the tensile strength of the base film, the elongation at break of the base film, and the peel strength of the sample after 2400 hours of heat aging at 100℃.
3.The UV aging resistance index refers to the retention rate of tensile strength and elongation at break after the test.

Note:
1.For ordinary anti-corrosion coatings, when the width of the adhesive tape is less than or equal to 75mm, the lap width can be greater than or equal to 10mm. When the adhesive width is greater than 75mm and less than 230mm, the lap width can be greater than or equal to 15mm. When the adhesive width is greater than 230mm, the lap width can be greater than or equal to 20mm.
2. The allowable deviation of the adhesive tape width is ±5% of the adhesive tape width.
3.The thickness of the anti-corrosion coating at the weld seam should be no less than 85% of the designed thickness.
4. For special environments and special sections, the structure of the anti-corrosion coating shall be determined separately by the design.
