1. Choose based on the properties of the substrate
The surface characteristics of different substrates vary significantly, directly determining the compatibility of the template:
Copper plates: The most versatile, with a moderate hardness (HRC 35-40), are suitable for most common materials such as paper, leather, plastic, and fabric. They are suitable for fine lines and have a long service life. They are suitable for flat products, standard cylindrical surfaces, rough surfaces, plush fabrics, and textured fabrics.

Steel plate: Extremely hard (HRC55 and above) and heat-resistant, it is commonly used for heat transfer on wood products and embossing thick blankets. However, it is expensive and has a long processing cycle, making it suitable only for specialized industrial applications.
Magnesium plate: Lightweight, fast thermal conductivity, high surface hardness, and easy demolding. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring high precision, fine lines, and complex graphics.
2. Select by "Design Precision"
Silicone hot stamping plates are made by casting, while metal plates can be made by etching or engraving. Silicone plates are suitable for products with higher surface hardness and are suitable for plastic products with curved, cambered, or sloped surfaces. Metal hot stamping plates made by engraving offer high precision and a long lifespan. They are suitable for 3D reliefs, complex patterns, ultra-fine designs, gradient effects, high-end packaging, brand logos, and etching processes. They are also suitable for conventional lines and text patterns.
3. Select by "Hot Stamping Machine Type"
