The ST2742C automated powder resistivity tester is a measuring instrument that uses the four-probe method to test the "resistivity - pressure" and "compaction density - pressure" characteristics of powder.

Advantageous features.
a. High-precision national standard four-probe algorithm.
Overcome the errors in contact resistance and test electrode line resistance in the two-electrode method.
The powder resistivity is tested by the national standard four-probe method, which overcomes the drawbacks of the traditional two-electrode method for measuring powder resistivity instruments. It can eliminate the contact resistance between the electrode and the sample as well as the connection between the electrode and the sample
The error caused by the resistance of the wire body is thus highly accurate and has good repeatability.

3.1 Characteristic parameters of measurable samples
a. Measurable resistivity range: 15.00×10 -6to 200.00×10 3Ω-cm
Resolution: 1.50×10 -6to 0.01×10 3Ω-cm
b. Measurable sample particle size requirements: It is recommended to be below 40 mesh, with a maximum not exceeding 10 mesh. Excessive fineness has no effect!
c. Measurable sample components: There are no special requirements. As long as there is no corrosive damage to the metal electrode and the plastic material cup, it is acceptable.
d. Selection of material cups and recommended sample quantities: As shown in Table 3.1-1/2/3 for selection of material cups and recommended sample quantities.

3.2 Test condition parameters can be provided
a. Eight-speed constant current source: 0.1uA, 1.0uA, 10uA, 100uA, 1.0mA, 10mA, 100mA, 1.0A.
Voltmeter: 20mV to 2.0V automatic range.
b. Selection of material cups and recommendation of pressure conditions
The system provides a rated pressure of 10000N(1T=1000KG), with selectable pressure ranges of 0 to 100MPa/50MPa/30MPa, which are related to the cross-section of the material cup. For detailed information, please refer to Table 3.1-4.
3.3 Data representation form and precision grade parameters of single-machine mode
a. Real-time synchronous display: resistivity ρ, conductivity σ, compaction density, using the scientific counting method of "5 significant figures + order of magnitude units".
b. Real-time synchronous display: pressure P, height W, 4 significant figures.
c. Real-time synchronous display: Test current magnitude and direction.
d. Result Output: Instrument color screen "Resistivity ρ- Pressure Pa" form.
3.4 Online mode data representation form and accuracy grade parameters
The software measurement and control interface and the instrument's color screen display relevant content in real time synchronously.
b. Synchronously record and output the result of the "resistivity ρ- pressure Pa" form.
c. After the test is completed, a test report can be printed, which includes the forms and curves of "resistivity ρ- pressure Pa" and "compaction density ρV - pressure Pa".
