Purple Polyoxymethylene Sheet (POM) is a solid purple flat engineering plastic material made from polyoxymethylene (POM) as the substrate through extrusion or compression molding processes. POM is a highly crystalline thermoplastic polymer with a molecular chain composed of repeated - CH ₂ - O - units, possessing a highly regular molecular structure that endows the material with excellent rigidity, self-lubricating properties, and wear resistance.
Purple "is made by adding purple color masterbatch (such as organic or inorganic pigments) for color adjustment (milky white or natural color when no pigment is added), which not only maintains the core properties of POM substrate, but also meets the visual needs of identification differentiation, aesthetic decoration or specific industries (such as electronic components, laboratory equipment) through color design. The common thickness range is 2mm-50mm (some processes can achieve over 100mm), the width is generally within 1000mm, and the length can be customized according to needs.
Purple POM board inherits the high rigidity, low friction coefficient, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability of POM. At the same time, due to its purple appearance, it is more suitable for scenarios with comprehensive requirements for wear resistance, self-lubricating, and visual identification (such as precision mechanical components, electronic component carriers, laboratory wear-resistant panels, etc.). It is a commonly used engineering plastic board in the fields of machinery, electronics, chemical engineering, and civil engineering with high requirements for strength, wear resistance, and processing convenience.

- Wear-resistant transmission components: Gears (low speed/small to medium load), bearing cages, guide rail sliders (self-lubricating and wear-resistant, replacing metal parts to reduce friction noise).
- Jigs and fixtures: Positioning fixtures and assembly tooling in machining (sufficient rigidity to support small to medium parts, and easy to process complex shapes).
- Lightweight structural components: Equipment bases, guardrail posts (high rigidity, good dimensional stability, suitable for supporting small to medium loads).
Electronic and Electrical Equipment
- Insulating support components: Insulating partitions for high and low voltage switchgear, cable brackets, junction box housings (excellent electrical insulation, and temperature resistance meeting general electrical requirements).

Special Applications
- Food contact components: If POM resin that meets FDA/EU food-grade standards (such as limiting residual monomers and additives) is selected, it can be used for non-direct contact components of non-high-temperature food processing equipment (such as baking molds and food conveyor tracks).
- Weather resistance requirements: For outdoor use, UV protectants need to be added (to prevent aging, yellowing, and brittleness caused by long-term sun exposure), or a modified weather-resistant model (such as POM + glass fiber blend for better weather resistance) can be selected.
