Embossing and hot stamping of roll materials are mainly used for materials such as plastic, paper, leather, and fabric, with fabric being the most common.

Embossing machines for roll materials use a precise temperature control system to control the temperature of the hot stamping plate. They generally employ a flat-press structure, with a conveyor mechanism that equidistantly transports and positions the roll material. The hot stamping plate presses down within a set time to transfer pressure, transferring the graphic from the hot stamping plate to the product.
