Hydraulic Cushion Valve SHC-H16L-A Full Product Introduction
1. Basic Product Overview
The SHC-H16L-A is a threaded high-flow hydraulic cushion valve specially designed to absorb hydraulic pressure shocks. It is integrated into the pipelines connected to heavy-duty winch hydraulic motor and large lifting cylinders within the overall hydraulic system. It dissipates instantaneous high-pressure water hammer generated during startup, shutdown, direction switching and load free falling, smooths abrupt pressure fluctuations, and protects hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motor and precision valve assemblies from impact damage. Meanwhile, it eliminates mechanical jitter, abnormal noise and jerky startup, acting as a standard pressure stabilizing and buffering accessory for cranes, drilling rigs and lifting equipment.

3. Structure & Working Principle
Internally fitted with multi-stage throttle orifices, buffer cavity and one-way valve plates, the valve is installed in series between the main oil line of the hydraulic system and actuators such as hydraulic motor and hydraulic cylinders:
1. Normal Steady Operation: Hydraulic fluid flows forward through the one-way valve plate with no throttling resistance. The oil passage remains unobstructed, allowing the hydraulic motor to run at full speed without extra energy consumption.
2. Sudden Reversing, Load Dropping or Emergency Stop with Shock: The one-way valve closes when high-pressure shock is produced by backflowing hydraulic fluid. High-pressure fluid is forced to pass through gradually narrowed damping holes, where impact energy is dissipated step by step via throttling to reduce pressure peaks inside the buffer cavity.
3. After intense shocks subside and pressure returns to normal, the one-way valve opens again to restore regular oil supply. The whole buffering process operates adaptively and automatically with no manual adjustment required.
4. Key Product Advantages
1. Adopts a design with free forward flow and reverse throttling buffering. It only activates the buffering function under shock conditions without throttling loss in daily operation, avoiding efficiency reduction of the hydraulic system.
2. Large DN16 bore adapts to high-flow heavy-duty circuits, compatible with large-displacement piston and orbital hydraulic motor.
3. Multi-stage stepped damping delivers smooth pressure transition, preventing pipeline rupture, damaged motor bearings and spool jamming caused by rigid impacts.
4. Fully mechanical hydraulic structure with no electrical components features intrinsic explosion-proof performance, suitable for dusty and humid harsh working conditions in mines, ports and construction sites.
5. Direct threaded inline mounting enables easy retrofitting of existing hydraulic system without modifying valve block structures.
5. Typical Application Scenarios
1. Hoisting and lowering circuits of winch hydraulic motor on truck cranes and truck-mounted cranes to buffer hydraulic shocks from weightless hook dropping;
2. Main lifting cylinder oil lines of large aerial work platforms and dock levelers to ease startup and stop shocks during rapid descent;
3. Shock protection for feed motors of drilling rig power heads and travel hydraulic motor during direction switching;
4. Pressure relief and impact protection for heavy-duty mine conveyors and hydraulic winches within complete hydraulic system;
5. Auxiliary fitting installed at the outlet of high-flow hydraulic power units to protect downstream hydraulic actuators.
