HD90129340258 is the right-hand automatic slack adjuster for Shacman Delong F3000, M3000, and X3000 trucks with Hande axles. It is the mirror-image companion to the left-hand unit HD90129340257. While the left adjuster controls the left wheel brake, the right adjuster compensates for lining wear on the right side. The right side of a heavy truck often operates in a harsher environment — closer to the curb, exposed to more road splash, and subjected to different load distribution during turns — so the right adjuster can wear differently from the left. When the right adjuster fails, the right brake stroke increases, causing the truck to pull to the left during braking, uneven lining wear, and longer stopping distance. Replacing it with the correct HD90129340258 restores balanced braking and keeps the vehicle stable under emergency stops.

Surface Treatment: 45# steel housing, machined spline bore and worm shaft bore. 40Cr worm gear and worm shaft, heat-treated. Protective coating. 10-tooth involute spline. Right-hand specific housing and clevis hole position — mirror image of HD90129340257.
Manufacturing Process: Housing forged/cast 45# steel, CNC-machined. 10-tooth involute spline cut to match Hande camshaft. Worm gear and shaft machined from 40Cr, heat-treated. Assembled with clutch spring and one-way clutch. Inspected for spline fit, arm length, clevis hole, adjustment function.
Structure Diagram: Cast/forged right-hand housing, 10-tooth involute spline bore, worm gear and worm shaft, one-way clutch, Φ14 mm clevis pin hole, 165 mm arm length center-to-center. Mounting orientation is mirrored compared to the left-hand unit.
Installation Position: Mounts on the right-side brake camshaft, rear axle and rear-rear axle. Spline engages camshaft; clevis hole connects to brake chamber push rod. Left and right units are not interchangeable — using the left unit on the right side will misalign the clevis pin and cause unequal brake application.
Product Principle: The one-way clutch and worm gear compensate for lining wear. During brake application, excess rotation caused by wear is sensed by the clutch, which rotates the worm shaft and advances the camshaft position. On release, the clutch locks the adjusted position. The cycle repeats until the brake stroke returns to the optimal range. The right-hand unit must mirror the left-hand unit precisely so that both sides adjust equally and the truck brakes in a straight line.
Diagnostic Note: Watch for: Brake pulling to the left — right adjuster not compensating, causing right brake stroke to increase. Right brake drag or hot right wheel — adjuster over-adjusting, lining rubbing drum. Adjuster slips or fails to hold — one-way clutch or worm gear worn. Spline bore wear — adjuster loose on camshaft. Grease leakage — seal failed. Before replacing, check camshaft and bushings for wear.
