1. Product Overview

HD90149340093 is the left-side rear brake shoe assembly for Shacman X3000 and X5000 trucks with Hande HDZ300 rear drive axles. It is used on 8x4 and 6x4 chassis with the 8+8 rivet hole pattern. Right-side companion: HD90149340094. Not interchangeable. Weight: 8.8–9.65 kg with lining.

2. Product Details

Surface Treatment: High-strength steel platform, welded or cast web. Lining surface ground flat. Pivot bore and roller contact precision-machined. Anti-corrosion coating. Friction lining is non-asbestos aramid fiber, attached with solid brass rivets, hydraulically pressed.

Manufacturing Process: Steel platform formed, web welded or cast. Pivot bore and roller slot machined after welding. Lining surface ground. Aramid fiber lining molded, then riveted with solid brass rivets. Inspected for weld integrity, pivot bore, lining thickness, rivet tightness.

Structure Diagram: Curved steel platform, central web, pivot bore, roller or cam contact surface. Lining has 8+8 rivet holes plus 2 sensor holes. Dimensions: 178 × 220 × 16.7/12.5 mm.

Installation Position: Mounts inside rear brake drum on Hande HDZ300 axle. Left-side shoe HD90149340093 on left wheel; right-side HD90149340094 on right. Pivot bore fits anchor pin. Roller contact engages slack adjuster cam.

5. Installation Guide

Preparation: Park on level ground. Apply parking brake. Chock front wheels. Raise rear, support axle. Remove wheel and tire.
Remove drum: Remove retaining screws. Slide drum off hub. Use drum puller if seized.
Remove springs: Use brake spring tool. Note positions.
Remove hold-down hardware: Remove pins, springs, retainers. Note positions.
Remove old shoe: Disconnect from anchor pin and slack adjuster cam. Withdraw shoe. Note roller contact position.
Inspect: Check anchor pin and cam for wear. Replace if worn.
Install new shoe: Engage pivot bore with anchor pin, roller contact with slack adjuster. Install hold-down hardware and return spring.
Adjust: Rotate slack adjuster to set lining-to-drum clearance per Shacman spec. Shoe must pivot freely and return fully.
Reinstall drum and wheel: Slide drum on hub. Reinstall retaining screws, wheel. Torque wheel nuts.
Test: Apply and release brake several times. Verify smooth application and release without dragging. Road-test for even braking.
