Bottled water packaging commonly uses blow-molded food-grade plastic containers, with 5-gallon barrels being the industry standard. Surface printing plays an important role in product branding and information display for water manufacturers.

This fully automatic two-color shuttle screen printing machine is developed specifically for printing on large plastic water barrels. It combines a servo-driven shuttle worktable, dual-color screen printing units, UV LED curing modules, and a modern touchscreen control system for efficient and precise operation.

In operation, the barrel is positioned on the shuttle fixture for the first color print. The shuttle system then transfers the container to a UV LED curing station. Next, it moves to the second printing unit, where a servo indexing mechanism accurately detects the first print position and aligns the second color for precise overprinting. A second curing stage completes the process.

The machine’s open and modular configuration allows for easy upgrades, enabling users to add additional color stations for more complex multi-color printing applications.
